Our Builds
Building the perfect touring vehicle is our passion.
Let us show you some of our favourite builds to date.
‘WHOPER’
We don’t call this beauty the ‘WHOPER’ for nothing. The Ford F350 is as big and beautiful as you can imagine. Standing tall at 2.7m high and wide at 2.2m, we are very proud to say we took the WHOPER to another level, adding a fully integrated Concept Canopies custom aluminum canopy, with drawers and partitions all made onsite in our workshop. The 48 volt Safiery 600A Lithium system powers the twin fridges, lighting, cooking appliances in the slide out kitchen. And to finish her off we added a custom drop-down ladder to reach the Bush Company Ultimate Rooftop Tent. This is, the ultimate touring 4×4.
FORD F250
Chances are you’ve seen the CONCEP7 beast out and about as this tourer belongs to Concept Canopies owner, Jake Nielsen. A true testament to the Concept teams skills, with Jake putting it’s 5-inch lift with Coil-over conversion and 37×12.5R17 tyres to the test regularly whether it be beach, dirt, desert or towing the XTOUR caravan. The F250 gets a lot of love on and off the road, particularly when the canopy opens, and custom doggy ramp pulls down for Boss the Concept dog. Featuring a chassis mount aluminum canopy with 400amps of lithium, 800watts of solar, 170L of fridge space and an ice machine, the big girl has 600 horsepower and 1500 Newton-metres giving her plenty of get up and go.
RAM 3500 Longhorne Edition
The RAM. This gorgeous deep grey Longhorne came to us ready for a serious transformation, for serious off-roading. We added the works, including a chassis mounted canopy (colour code painted of course), toolboxes, water tank, ladders, roof racks and even a slide out kitchen fitted with an induction cooker and room for a coffee machine. They don’t call it Australia’s most luxurious full sized pick-up truck for nothin’.
Izusu NPS 4×4 Truck
One of our most popular builds for touring, we love customizing the Isuzu NPS 4×4 Trucks. If space is what you need in your ultimate touring 4×4 then this might just be the one for you, as not only can you carry 6 passengers, but you can also kit out the backs to be your home on the road. Our custom half-length canopy provides loads of storage with space on the rear tray for all your motorbiking needs. Our canopy doors have single handed swing lock with central locking, and the lightweight aluminum drawers ensures we are maximizing the 7+ tonne GVM. Dust suppression canopy vents, fridge drop slide and internal roof rack storage allows you to use this beast as a work vehicle during the week and take the family away on the weekend.
Landcruiser 300 Series Dual Cab
We teamed up with Creative Conversions to chop and build this 300 Series Dual Cab Landcruiser. These guys wanted to do some serious off-road cooking, so we built them a fully functional kitchen with dual induction cooktop, 130L Bushman’s fridge and a 40L EvaKool Fridge/Freezer combo, slide-out pantry and Breville CombiWave AirFryer. All of this is powered by a Redarc Red Vision System, Manager30 + a BCDC for high charging rates, and a 560-amp custom lithium battery.
TOYZUKI
We teamed up with Maxtrax and over 30 of Australia’s best aftermarket companies to create a compact, all terrain, all-encompassing mini tourer that can ride with the best of them. One of our most fun builds to date, this Suzuki Jimny was crafted to resemble a mini 79 Series double-cab Land Cruiser in the iconic Sandy Taupe paintwork. It had the works; body chop, custom canopy, barwork, suspension and a shortened 70 Series bonnet vent. Maxtrax gave this beauty away to winner Shaun, who is taking it on plenty of adventures.
