Big Fella, Done Proper

This NPS is specced to haul, crawl and cop a hiding. A full integrated tray-and-canopy setup with lockable gull-wing access and balloon-rubber sealing, built on aluminium spaceframe extrusion so it’s strong without being a boat anchor. Tan cab, cab-chassis, on order — and about to become the crew’s favourite truck.

Why we built it this way

Big trucks need structure and flex. The aluminium spaceframe keeps the canopy rigid; the AAV kinetic subframe underneath lets the body move the way a 4×4 truck needs to on twisted tracks, so doors still open and seals still seal. We standardised access, storage and lighting so day-to-day jobs are faster, and finished it in a 2 PAC paint colur coded to match the cab with black hardware for a tough, factory-plus look.

Stand-out features

The canopy is a true tray + canopy integration: two full-width gull-wing doors with proper balloon rubber sealing, a heavy-duty roof, and built-in ventilation so the big box breathes in the heat. Under the deck you’ve got tapered under-tray toolboxes both sides, three tray drop sides with black-powder hardware for flexible loading, and two fixed spare-wheel carriers so you’re never stranded with a single puncture.

Rear end is sorted with a roof visor and LED tail lights with protection covers so bumps and branches don’t take them out. Doors tie into remote central locking, and the whole unit is professionally fitted to the NPS with the required AAV kinetic subframe — because on a cab-chassis truck, mounting done right is half the battle.
