The Ultimate Canopy & Tray Combo for the Tundra.
Big truck, clean lines, zero fuss. This Tundra runs a chassis-mount aluminium canopy with our extruded space-frame tech, finished to match in pearl Frosted White and laid out so the day flows: load, go, repeat.
Why we built it this way
The Tundra has grunt for days – our job is to keep weight down, access fast and the finish factory-clean. We removed the tub, mounted the canopy to the chassis for strength without dead weight, and balanced storage, electrics and tie-downs so it just works.
Stand-out features
Sized to travel at L 1900 mm overall (canopy 1500 / tray 400) × W 2000 × H 920 mm, the canopy sits level with the cab and locks up with black handles and remote central locking on both doors. The canopy is colour-coded in pearl to match the truck while the space-frame structure keeps it rigid and light. We’ve built in proper airflow with an integrated ventilation system, and access is instant through two full-width opening doors.
Down the sides, infill panels with integrated steps make roof access easy; underneath live dual under-tray toolboxes; the corners wear flared guards, taillight protection covers and LED sequential tails for a neat, OEM-plus finish. Rearward, a roof visor ties in with a heavy-duty roof rack that extends over the visor, and a fixed spare-wheel carrier handles the full-size rubber on the right. We’ve added three tray drop sides for flexible hauling and an external rear shelf for quick-grab gear.
Inside, layout is simple and efficient: on the left-hand front a Bushman 130 L upright drops into a carpeted alloy surround, with a drawer beside it, built to the fridge height and running a powder-coated slide-out bench for prep and tools. The matching surround/depth on the right keeps the bay balanced and leaves clean working room to the rear. Door-open buzzers keep everything honest, and wiring is tidy and serviceable.
All the OEM tech stays live: we refit the reverse camera, parking sensors and blind-spot monitors into the new rear infill panel, so you keep the driver-assist suite after the conversion.
Paint & finish
We split finishes for durability and style. The canopy frame, infills, guards, toolboxes, tail-light covers, rear fascia, three drop sides and visor are Raptor-coated for a tough, low-sheen skin; the canopy doors and vents are 2-PAC pearl white to match the body; the rear infill panel, HD roof rack and slide-out bench are Sahara-black powder coat. Net effect: one cohesive, premium look that reads factory at a glance and better up close.
The result
A Tundra that drives lighter, loads smarter and looks like it came this way from Toyota – only stronger where it matters.
